BOLD TEACHING. EXCEPTIONAL LEARNING.

Early Learning Center (3-6 years)

What is ELC?

AT A GLANCE

Our Early Learning Center at Anton Bruckner International School is open for students age 3 to 6.

Personal, social and physical education: quality teaching with proven achievement.

Early childhood marks a time of significant growth and learning. At Anton Bruckner International School, the strong emphasis behind our teaching is on building foundations for the future growth of the child through inquiry based learning. We help our students acquire skills and knowledge that will benefit their development and also aim to build up a positive attitude towards learning, creative thinking and self management. We help children to be actively engaged with their environment through exploration and investigations that the students often initiate themselves.

Enjoyable and Meaningful

The ELC class of Anton Bruckner International School encourages children to see learning as both enjoyable and meaningful to the real world we live in. We focus on developing the child as a complete global citizen through social, physical, intellectual and emotional learning. Our school programme has a strong emphasis on language development (English in the morning and German in the afternoon) and opportunities for thinking, problem-solving, self-expression and discovery.

The ELC classroom presents a unique community of learners that varies not only in abilities, but also in learning styles.

Our role as teachers is to give children the tools with which to cultivate their own gardens of knowledge.

To accomplish this goal, we will teach to the needs of each child so that all learners can feel capable and successful. Our curriculum incorporates hands-on learning to make learning relevant to life and to help children become active learners. Learning is tied into the world community to help children become caring and active members of society.
